VOID Description

The Kingdom VOID is a new way to make bikes by using additive manufacturing it has helped us create a better design that incorporate ground breaking, innovative titanium parts that previously we could only dream about.

LIMITED EDITION - Twenty four VOIDs will be produced once a year. You can pre-order any VOID model, travel or wheel size but we are limiting the VOID production to strictly 24 frames once-a-year, once they are gone they are gone until next year. Making this the ultimate high-end, highly desirable limited edition titanium bike that you will be the proud owner of.

The VOID is designed around a single-pivot platform and comes in two-wheel sizes, 27.5 and 29in. Its geometry is a development from our tried, tested and much loved Vendetta frames. This means it inherits aggressive and playful genetics, with a steep seat angle throwing the rider’s weight forward for quick handling and pedalling in the attack position. It is combined with a relatively slack head angle (but not too fashionably silly) to add stability while supplying reliable, fast trail handling.

The VOID is totally unique in so much as we are using cutting edge additive manufacturing (printed parts) in the VOIDs construction. Using a mix of electron beam melting (EBM) and laser powder bed printing to produce key frame parts. Once printed we add a heat treatment process called HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) for an extra 10-15% yield strength on the key parts.

Our aim with VOID is to use major, stress-laden moving parts that would be impossible to make using traditional manufacturing methods. This form of additive manufacturing also helps us reduce wastage making it more environmentally friendly.

The VOID is available in two models (trail 130 or Mountain 160) and for either 27.5 or 29 wheels sizes.

Customisation: We are renown for our no up-charge customisation to our bikes but sadly unlike our other bikes the VOIDs geometry or specifications cannot be customised.

VOID Trail 130 Features

The VOID 130 Trail is low slung and incredibly stable but with a playful twist that makes it feel more like a hardtail with bounce than a softly sprung sofa, we designed the VOID Trail around a fork from 120-140mm travel and features a metric 210x50 shock with 130mm travel.

The headtube is engraved with VOID and is a functional straight 44, which means a lower price tag and with an external lower headset it can happily run tapered forks. The Bottom bracket is a future proof T47 allowing better rigidity and easier dropper routing. All routing is fully internal apart from gear cable and brake hose briefly exiting and entering the stays below the BB.

The frame comes titanium shock mounting hardware and an alloy seat clamp.

VOID Mountain 160 Features

The VOID Mountain is single pivot simplicity. It shares many features with our higher end suspension frames like; a tapered headtube, slimline Breezer-style dropouts and new sexy 2022 post mount brake tabs. The tapered headtube is engraved with VOID and the VOID Mountain features a future proof T47 bottom bracket allowing better rigidity and easier dropper routing. All routing is fully internal apart from gear cable and brake hose briefly exiting and entering the stays again below the BB.

The frame comes with a Burgtec axle, titanium shock mounting hardware and an titanium Kingdom seat clamp.

Warranty and Parts

What do you get with your VOID?

Warranty - Every VOID has a 2 year limited to the original owner full warranty. This means as long as you're the original owner, in the unlikely event of a problem your VOID is fully covered against any manufacturers defects or faults, you'll need to have registered the frame with us after purchase to get this warranty and it doesn't cover your frame for crash damage. In case of damage from a crash your VOID would be covered by our crash repair warranty.

Terms apply to this warranty, like 'over forking your VOID by running forks outside the recommended range or carelessly reversing your car over it by mistake.

Churning out bikes for profit has never been a goal (or a result, ask our families) of running Kingdom. For us, it’s all about experimentation and improvement and increasing the fun people have on bikes (ourselves, mainly, if we’re honest).

But we do produce stuff, all of it creating waste in one way or another; we are all-too-aware of the toll of consumerism on the precious environments in which we ride. We know a growing number of riders feel the same.

The crisis is this: Everything we make harms nature. Yet it seems impossible to just stop. Is there a better way forward?

We’ve thought long and hard, we’ve searched high and low, and our next goal, one we’ve already started, is to improve the way our bikes are made. To trial and utilise the best, new efficient techniques of manufacture like additive manufacturing to help reduce our wastage, limit our impact, and improve or entirely overhaul our range with new innovative parts and features.

On top of these goals Kingdom goals to reduce our manufacturing impact we have also decided that every VOID frame sold will mean 20 trees will be planted as part of the cost of your frame by including a donation to ONE TREE PLANTED.
