The Vendetta is the original rowdy titanium hardtail, originally designed and built some 14 years ago, one of the OG hardcore hardtails. Whilst we have tweaked the geometry over the years the Vendetta’s core genetics have remained the same, 'go fast', maximum stability and no weight compromises. Think fine wine, or a good malt! The X3 is the latest and greatest so far!
Finish:
We're offering the Vendetta X3 in one finish, raw. Our most popular finish is a cleaned raw titanium with exposed welds for that au-naturale look. Not only it is hard to scratch, it cleans in the rain (mostly) and can be buffed up to a beautiful finish without much work. We are also offering the frames with a choice of decal colours, so you can customise you frame as much as you wish. The classic headbadge stays.
Size and Fit:
We have managed to retain the classic Vendetta look for the X3, giving it the individual silhouette that we know and love! For large and XL versions of the frame, we have made the stand-over lower to retain the iconic shape of the top tube aligning with the seat stays. Along with the development of larger drop seatposts we believe that we have nailed the stand-over on the X3 for the taller dude and dudettes. Long gone are the days of bikes getting taller for taller riders and good riddance.
Cables:
The X3 now has full stealth routing for a dropper through a new 'easy route' alloy entry, though, for now brake and gear routing is still external.
Headtube:
The CNC tapered Ti head tube is one of the biggest costs on our frames, so by using a straight 44 head tube we have removed a huge manufacturing expense. The 44 head tube means you can still use tapered forks with an external cup lower headset. We are offering Hope and Cane Creek Hellbenders as fitted options so the frame arrived to you that bit closer to ready!
Bottom Bracket:
We decided upon the threaded BSA standard for the BB, as the Vendetta has proven itself to handle the worst of the british winters year in year out, bottom brackets get the worst of it. As close to the most common standard is what it had to be! We also offer Hope bottom bracket options as we have such faith in them!
