The XFS PS or Party Stripper was born one year ago on a flight back from Tenerife. A highly limited-edition bike, conceived during 2 weeks of smashing highly technical trails and having maximum fun with only a 120mm travel XFS rat bike that had been hacked together, reflecting some new ideas we’d been having on shorter travel gung ho geometry.
In the process we re-defined the XFS genetics into the XFS PS; long but less slack up front, shorter but a steeper seat angle, playful with an ultra-low stand-over for maximum movement.
Like our Tenerife rat bike the PS has just 120mm travel, but with tweaked pivot positions that allowed us to develop the normal XFS suspension curve so that is more linear and suited to short travel trail bikes.
The we added sliding dropouts into the mix, so the PS can be super run shorter as a playful puppy or longer with more wheelbase and stability. Bikepark or XC trail weapon, making the PS the true life of the party.
Strictly a Limited Edition - 6 frames a year
For 2020 we'll be making another six XFS PS frames, we have sold two already so that leaves just 4 frames left.
The XFS PS is a low-slung missile, giving you loads of body clearance so you can throw the bike around when the trail gets rowdy. We only have 2 medium frames left from this very exclusive production. And to help you decide if the medium is right for you, please check on the chart below.
We suggest the "Reach" measurement as a great starting point for choosing the right size PS frame. The reach measurement tells you how the bike will feel when you are in an riding position standing on the pedals. Reach is the standard that the mountain bike industry uses so you can use it to compare other bikes.
